Fed3 Projects are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Construction Project Manager to join this exciting and expanding construction consultancy based in Northampton or London.
Fed3 Projects are a forward-thinking construction project management consultancy with a positive attitude towards business and represent the professional expertise behind many successful, large scale construction projects for many of the UK's leading names across the private specialist healthcare sector.
They are searching for an innovative and proactive individual to join their growing team of professionals in a senior role, to assist them in the total management of construction projects which includes delivery of the PM/EA and post contract QS roles. Fed3 Projects are looking for the desire, determination and positivity of a talented project manager with cost management skills who can impact and contribute to the success of the business immediately.
The role and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the Project Management and Cost Management role incorporating all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
Scope includes:
Pre-Contract Project/ Cost Management:
feasibility/option studies, site acquisition due diligence, planning application management, project programme management, concept and detail design process management, tender and contractor appointment process
Post Contract Project/ Cost Management:
Contract Document preparation, issuing site instructions and variation instructions, cost control during the progress of the works, interim valuations, cost reporting to the Client, monitoring build quality, chairing site and client meetings, preparing and agreeing final accounts, practical completion snagging and the management of making good defects periods.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
An outgoing, positive and pro-active attitude
A full UK driving license
Ideally minimum of 5 years experience in the care home and care village sector. Other relevant experience includes extra care, sheltered accommodation, PRS, hotels.
Package Details:
Salary guide £50k to £85k - negotiable on capability and experience
