Assistant Property Manager job - Student accommodation. £22500 based in Liverpool

Your new company
You will be joining an established international developer and student accommodation management company who are looking to appoint an Assistant Property Manager to the team in Liverpool, Merseyside. They have over 12,000 student beds and growing. This is an exciting time to join this established reputable company and based in the heart of Liverpool.


Your new role
You will be responsible for assisting the property manager to manage a site in Liverpool with 339 beds. You will support with the selection and appointment of staff and training. Conduct viewings with tenants, processing tenant applications. Procurement of supplies. Coordinating caretakers and admin staff. Responsible for ensuring legal requirements are met including Health & Safety at Work, Equal Rights Legislation and the Housing Act. Accounting and collection of money from residents. This will include damage and security deposits and calculation of individual amounts payable. Assisting in the marketing, sales and reservation of accommodation for students, guests and visitors. Liaison with University Accommodation Offices to provide an update on information and assistance as required.


What you'll need to succeed
The suitable candidate could be from a similar role in student accommodation, an assistant hall manager, or property management. Worked in hotel management or estate agency. You will ideally have experience of marketing properties out and have excellent customer service experience and skills. You will have some kind of management or supervisory experience and be organised in your approach to work. You will be confident and be able to multi task and deputise in the property managers absence.
