Site Manager Required

I am recruiting on behalf of a smaller bespoke construction company based in Southampton, Hampshire. Starting to gradually grow and tendering for more sites with a higher volume of work. This is residential work so would be working on timber frame new builds, on approx 100 houses per site. venturing around Hampshire and Dorset and has an outstanding reputation on health and safety.


Client is requesting a temp site manager for approx 18 months to help run the project. Day to day duties include health and safety checks, visitor sign in's, ensuring deadlines are met, running the programme and ensuring the sub-contractors are on track. You will need to be hands on getting involved and helping out to ensure there is no delay in the programmed works. It will be Mon-Friday 8am-5pm 40 hour weeks plus some over time needed if behind or required.


You must be hot on health and safety as a client must to continue outstanding reputation. Must be hands on, delegate and lead well with a strong work ethic to maintain high standards. Must have a drive to reach targeted results and ensure all works are on track. must be confident in ensuring sub contractors are up to date with works. You must have vast experience in the residential sector, especially new builds timber frame works. It is essential that you have qualifications for CSCS black card, SMSTS and first aid. Other qualifications within site management of course always help!


You will be working in a fast paced environment, as a temp for 18 months approx. You will be paid a day rate of £250 per day, and be working for a credible client who is experiencing growth in business. If you are interested, then please contact Cameron Whitley on 02382 020101.
