Building Surveyor - Plymouth

Your new company
As a Building Surveyor you will be joining a private technical consultancy who have a national and international operation with a reputation for providing solutions to some of the worlds most complicated construction challenges. Your new role
As a Building Surveyor you will work as part of a team who are responsible for delivering a wide range of professional services across both the private and public sectors (with your Plymouth operation predominately supporting local government and the MOD). Your work compromises of refurbishments, alterations and maintenance projects from conception through to completion on site - in order to deliver this you will be involved in the preparation of client briefs, cost control, management of the production of drawings, specifications and tender documents.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in your new role, you will have worked in a project based Building Surveying role either with a consultancy, practice or on the client side. You will need to have professional membership, which can either be RICS or CIOB, and will have recently obtained this over the past couple of years. You will need to possess excellent relationship building and communication skills, and ideally have an understanding of NEC3 or JCT contracts.
