Your new company
My client is a leading creative organisation based near Kings Cross and are dedicated to Theatre & Dance. They entertain over half a million people at their theatres in London each year. Their estate comprises of several auditoriums, rehearsal studios; bars, a café, facilities for private and corporate entertaining and offices. The organisation also has 2 other sites and plans are underway for the development of a fourth venue in London.

Your new role
They are currently looking to recruit an Engineer to join the facilities team who can assist with maintaining the building, contribute to the provision of general maintenance and building services, supervise the work of trade contractors and undertake other duties as may be reasonably required.

What you'll need to succeed
The role will suit an engineer with building services experience and an understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. You will have good painting and fabric skills, be computer literate with knowledge of BMS systems, a team player with a can-do attitude, able to work unsupervised, adaptable, resourceful and flexible.

What you'll get in return
The role is paying £26k-£29k depending on experience and will be based on a 35-hour working week over any five days out of seven, plus an additional paid meal break each day. The working hours vary according to the rota, start times can be from 7am, and end times can be up to 10pm depending on the rota pattern. There is an annual leave entitlement of 5 weeks each year. The organisation will also provide a pension scheme, interest-free season ticket loans, Death in Service insurance policy covering twice the annual salary and Cycle to Work salary sacrifice scheme. The company also encourages attendance of performances where you will be able to purchase tickets for £1.
