M&E CAD Technician - Leicester - Building Services Consultancy - £32-45k

An independently owned mechanical, electrical and environmental design consultancy in Leicester with a proven reputation in the building services industry. They work with a wide range of clients across all sectors in the construction industry.


THE ROLE
They are looking for a 2D M&E CAD Technician to join their growing team of consulting engineer's. You will be responsible for drawing a range or M&E Services (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, small power, CCTV, lighting, fire/security, data cabling, BMS systems etc.) onto architectural drawings for a wide range of building types. You will have worked as a building services CAD technician within a consultancy or contractor for at least 2-4 years. Future projects may be required in Revit MEP, therefore any Revit experience would be beneficial.


PERSON SPECIFICATION

• At least 2-4 years' experience in a building services contractor or consultancy CAD role
• Experience in AutoCAD essential
• Revit MEP desirable
• Experience drawing Mechanical & Electrical Services drawings for a range of project types
• Creating Xrefs
• Excellent presentation skills
• Organised and capable of filing drawings both manually and electronically

SALARY / BENEFITS

• £30,000 - 45,000
