Freelance Building Surveyor required for South Yorkshire 12 Month Contract Day Rate or Salaried FTC to the equivalent of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Your new company
A public sector organisation requires an experienced building surveyor to join their team to carry out maintenance, repairs and improvement of their property portfolio

Your new role
Your role will involve working within a team to prepare tender documents and advising on a selection of contractors and designers. You will also be responsible for managing a wide range of projects, whilst supervising members of your team. Deliver the annual capital, repair, reactive, cyclical, regulatory and maintenance and environmental programmes of works across the organisations property portfolio and as identified in the Estates Plan. Provide support as required by the Property Manager on project management, environmental, capital, repair and maintenance issues and provide information and advice to corporate groups, Corporate Management Board and Elected Members as appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be educated to a degree level with experience within the construction industry. You will also be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and have the ability to work using your own initiative.

What you'll get in return
This is a long-term contract position with an immediate start. This can either be a Day rate or a salaried FTC to the equivalent of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
