Your new role

The role will be to assist in the promotion and development of the Birmingham Building Consultancy, whilst supporting the activities of the Birmingham Team, and wider business. In order to achieve targeted fee income you will be required to be involved with technical drawings on AutoCAD, preparing specifications and tendering, project monitoring services, as well as preparing Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules. There will also be additional related tasks.


What you'll need to succeed

Our client is looking for a personable and willing individual who is happy to undertake local and firm-wide business development initiative. You will also need to be pro-active being able to display excellent interpersonal skills, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to self-manage.

For this role you will need to be MRICS and have completed a degree in Building Surveying to be able to sign off work as well as hold a full driving license.

Responsibilities

You will need to prepare specifications, tendering and providing contract administration services. along with preparing technical drawings on Auto CAD for project instructions.
You will offer project monitoring services on behalf of lenders for various construction projects and prepare feasibility studies and sketch scheme designs for a wide variety of building types.
