Junior Quantity Surveyor

Permanent Junior Quantity Surveyor role, Nottingham, Fit out & New build, Residential & Commercial up to £30k

Your new company
You will be working for a privately owned family run contractor who are based in Nottinghamshire. The company carry out refurbishment and new build works in the residential and commercial sectors. Project values range between £100k and £3m. Due to increased workload the organisation are now seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their ranks on a permanent basis.

Your new role
You will be reporting into the general manager and director. The role will be working alongside another Quantity Surveyor completing the commercial elements of projects. You will be reviewing drawings and pricing appropriate materials for the works. You will also advise the approximate time taken to carry out the operational delivery. The role will also involve liaising with clients and subcontractors regarding any queries.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will have a minimum of 1 years experience in a trainee or junior quantity surveyor role. You will have strong numerical skills and be able to read drawings. You will have a sense of urgency as the company pride themselves on the speed of service to clients. Ideally you will have either refurbishment or new build experience for a contractor in the East Midlands.
