Mechanical Design Engineer

A design and build company looking for mechanical design engineer to join their team in Blackburn.

Your new company
This is a large UK based design and build company specialising in sustainable energy solutions. The company is over 400 people strong with a design team of over 50 people in Blackburn alone.
They work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, education, healthcare and industrial sectors. Design engineers work in teams of approx 6 engineers which then focus on specific projects. They have a really warm and close knit team and support one another.

Your new role
In this role you will be working on a range of projects and each project may be at a different stage, giving you the opportunity to work on all stages of a project.
You will be reporting to the principal engineer and will be working from initial specification writing all the way through concept and detail design, to completion and handover.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be degree qualified in Building Services or equivalent with post graduate experience working within the industry. This role will require you to be proficient with AutoCAD and any other relevant software such as Hevacomp and IES.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, flexible working hours, further career development and opportunity to progress your career - there is no glass ceiling here!
