Senior Planner - Client-Side

The Role

Have you always wanted to have more autonomy in your role or feel that you would be best suited to the project management side of the Planning process? A well-known housebuilder is looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a Senior Planner who is keen to work on a range of developments across both urban and rural environments in both Central London and branching out into the Home Counties.

On a daily basis you will be liaising with the land team, looking into site identification, viability and feasibility of securing planning consent and pushing through consent on multiple sites currently owned or under development by the company. You will also be working closely with local authorities to negotiate S106 agreements and working towards the discharging of conditions.

About You

You will have developer or consultancy experience and be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment on a demanding number of projects. Being a member of the RTPI is necessary and will allow you to flourish in the role alongside an understanding of the greater development process. You should be an ambitious and hard-working individual who relishes the chance to further progress your career on the client-side.
