Mechanical CAD Technician

Mechanical CAD Technician required for plumbing and heating company in Buckinghamshire to work on domestic construction projects.

Your New Role
Carrying out Mechanical drawings for both new projects and upgrading existing projects Performing a range of 2D CAD based tasks including layout design and managing all drawings and documents on computer systems Working closely with clients to understand specification requirements for design Preparing O&M Manuals.

What You'll Need
To be successful, candidates will need a proven career history and background carrying out CAD drawings and must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD. Minimum of 5 years working experience within an M&E CAD Technician role. Must be fully conversant using 2D AutoCAD packages. Good knowledge of Mechanical building services. Appropriate knowledge and experience of AutoCAD 2D operation and drawing standards. Knowledge of relevant UK Standards and Specifications. Ability to resolve CAD problems and issues. Knowledge of electronic document management systems. Competency in Design Builder software desirable but not essential to the role.

The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative with minimal direction and possess sound communication skills.
