Your new company have provided consultancy and advice to Developers, Retailers, Investors, Local Authorities & private clients in the Surrey & South West London area for over 60 years,
They provide professional advice across a range of different projects and a variety of sectors, including education, retail, industrial & commercial, and residential.
They have amassed an extensive and varied project portfolio, and strong client base with a wealth of repeat clients that contribute to their £2.4m turnover YTD.
Your new role
You will be responsible for assisting senior surveyors in providing professional advice to clients for multi-million pound building projects throughout the South of England.
You will act on behalf of clients during tender process, with daily responsibilities including contract administration on several simultaneous projects, budgeting and client liaison.
You will work independently on routine responsibilities and tasks throughout each project but will receive support when needed to overcome challenges and obstacles.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to possess practical experience working in a client side or consultancy role as a QS or assistant QS.
You will need good knowledge of JCT, NEC and Minor Works contracts as your daily responsibilities will involve
a substantial degree contract administration.
You will need to possess a high level of written, and verbal communication, as you will be expected to maintain strong contact with clients, third party professionals and individuals of varying backgrounds.
In order to succeed you will need to be highly organised and able to manage several different projects of varying workloads simultaneously.
You will need to have completed a relevant degree, preferably one with a RICS accreditation
You will need to hold a valid UK or equivalent Driver's License and ideally have access to your own vehicle as you will be expected to travel to multiple sites during your working week.
