Hays are working in partnership with Translink to recruit for a Commercial Manager to join their Infrastructure & Project Delivery team based in Milewater Road, Belfast. Your new role
This is a permanent position based within the Infrastructure & Project Delivery department offices on Milewater Road, Belfast in Duncrue Industrial Estate area. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure & Project Delivery, you will develop and implement a best practice framework for cost, value and contract management for major construction projects. As Commercial Manager, you will seek continual performance improvement, manage dispute resolution and provide support and assurance for project planning and delivery.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must possess a Quantity Surveying or other relevant Construction Management Degree with Chartered Surveyor status (RICS or ICES) or willing to obtain chartered status. You must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a construction related quantity surveying role and experience in procuring major construction works and service contracts / frameworks. You must have experience in the NEC suite of contracts and experience in dispute resolution. You must be able to make decisions under pressure, anticipate potential issues or problems and provide robust and objective solutions whilst leading project teams and managing internal and external stakeholders appropriately.
