Quantity Surveyor

Permanent Quantity Surveyor role, Derbyshire, Industrial refurb, construction and repairs, M&E and FM

Your new company
You will be working for an industry leading contractor who out of their Derbyshire offices. The works will entail construction and refurbishment projects of a major industrial facility. The position will entail an element of both Quantity Surveying and Estimating, however the main focus is on QS duties. Due to increased workload my client are seeking a permanent member of staff to join their commercial team.


Your new role
You will be working as part of the commercial team to support Commercial Projects in the Midlands Region
You will have relative experience in complex new build, FM projects, M&E projects, Civils projects & refurbishment projects within the Commercial Sector plus relevant experience in measuring, pricing and agreeing the value of works carried out for interim payment and final account purposes together with administering sub-contract accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will have a strong background as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator for a construction contractor or a M&E subcontractor. You will be capable of running a range of smaller and larger scheme work streams simultaneously.
