Freelance Quantity Surveyor

I am representing a client based on construction and property commercial projects who are seeking a new freelance QS to join their growing business. Very established and work on high end value projects across Hampshire. Notorious for staff retention as look after their team well and a business that is thriving in the current market looking to extend their team. Currently based in Fareham, Hampshire.


Client is looking for a quantity surveyor to join their team. You will report to the construction manager where your main duties will include: budgets, considered procurement and tendering, management of resources and utilities too.


You will need to have extensive experience in quantity surveying ideally with an equivalent degree or qualification. Good understanding of budgeting and meeting deadlines, with a strong knowledge of construction costs and measurement techniques. Must have a good knowledge of risk qualification and be pro-active and driven. Must have strong communication skills and adhere to building regulations, and health and safety.
