Head of Investment

I have been instructed by a valued client to recruit for a Head of Investment on a permanent basis for a public sector business based in the North West. This is due to current expansion plans for the business having experienced a strong period of growth over the past two years.

Your new company
A large, public sector organisation with over 30,000 homes across the North who are in an exciting period of business growth currently. Not only do they rent the homes that they have, this business also build and manage home for sale, sheltered accommodation and tenants requiring extra care. Your new role
As the new Head of Investment you will be required to manage the development and delivery of the business' Asset Management function with particular focus on multi million pound investment programmes across the North. With the business seeing huge investment potential over the next decade and further, you must have experience of budget management with the organisations set budget currently around £35million+ per annum. You must have the ability and experience to implement a flawless Asset Management strategy, combining a variety of works programmes with as many as 100+ active projects at any one time. An extensive role to complete whilst directly managing a team of 2 with the wider Asset team of around 40 people, an excellent move for an experienced individual or for someone to step up to the next level if toy are already dealing with this kind of volume.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need extensive knowledge of the construction industry, including framework and contract procurement and ideally hold a professional qualification such as MRICS and a property or construction degree level qualification. You must have proven experience of managing and developing Asset Management services whilst managing a team. Previous tenant and resident engagement is key and managing investment and refurbishment projects on a large scale.
