Site Engineer - Highways - March 19

Your new company

As Site Engineer you will be working with an innovative West Midlands based National multi-disciplined Civil Engineering Contractor, that have decades of experience working with the likes of Severn Trent, Highways England and Network Rail.

Your new role

You will be responsible for delivering a major highways improvement scheme throughout the Midlands, on an initial 8/10 month contract.

• Set levels and provide accurate detailed works as per the drawings provided by the client, whilst regularly ensuring that checks are carried out.
• Confidently resolve issues that arise on site, whilst communicating with all concerned parties.
• Order materials to site when needed.
• Keep up to date records of works undertaken, ensuring that they adhere to current legal standards.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful as a Site Engineer, you must possess a keen eye for detail and confidently complete works efficiently on a busy housing site. You will also be required to have an in-depth knowledge of AutoCAD and be proficient in using a robotic total station.
