Capital Project Manager - Plymouth

Capital Project Manager required to join a large organisation based in the Plymouth at South Devon region

Your new company
As a Capital Project Manager you will be joining a large employer based in the Plymouth and South Devon region who are responsible for the maintenance and improvement of an extensive commercial property portfolio.

Your new role
This is a varied and busy role which will provide you with an opportunity to manage a wide range of construction projects from building refurbishments through to upgrades, renovations, improvements and refits. As a project manager you will be tasked with taking ownership of all all costs and project budgets as well as managing consultant architects, surveyors and cost managers, supervising contractors on site and working in partnership with a wide range of other internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this temporary position, you will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience of project managing construction projects on the client-side. You'll need to have an understanding of construction regulations as well as health & safety.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered an initial contract of between 3 - 6 months in length alongside a daily rate which is dependent on your specific level of experience and qualifications. There is also long-term potential, as the successful applicant will also have an opportunity to apply for a permanent position at a later date.
