Your new company is an award winning contractor is who are based in Cambridge and looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

Your new role
They are currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to a dramatic uplift in workload and a healthy pipeline in place. You will be assisting with the Take off quantities from drawings of procurement/checking subcontractor applications/pricing variations. Placing material orders and preparing monthly progress valuations. Reviewing contracts and placing sub contractor orders.


What you'll need to succeed
You must be reliable, trustworthy and proactive, with an enthusiastic approach to work and learning, with good punctuation and attendance.
Strong organisation and communication skills, with a methodical approach and a good attention to detail.
Previous quantity surveying experience.
Willingness to develop career and undertake further training to support career development.
Experience working with a Contractor/subcontractor
Excellent in the use of Microsoft applications including Word,Excel and Outlook.
