Your new role
As a Principle Planning Policy Officer you will be leading a team of planning professionals to deliver the annual work programme of planning policy work for a Council and Consultancy commissions. You will also take on responsibilities such as providing timely, comprehensive and accurate reports and recommendations on planning policy issues, attending and presenting at various public meetings, assisting with business development for planning policy commissions and meeting agreed targets for general consultancy work, and various others.

What you'll need to succeed
For you to succeed in this role you will have to demonstrate a proven track record on leading in the delivery of Local Plan documents and be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Knowledge of the current UK planning policy is also a must have.

The ideal candidate will show experience with team leadership and ability to make site visits.
