Senior Development Project Manager - Up to £55k - North Oxfordshire


Our client has more than 375 homes to build as part of their ambitious development programme. The successful candidate will fit straight in, taking a lead role in managing a small team delivering high quality homes through the client's resident led approach to provide a range of products that improve the local communities.

You will be arranging and managing development programmes, developing briefs for projects, running financial viability appraisals and making sure that from initial planning stages, right through to procuring consultants and managing risks, we deliver value for money with every scheme.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team delivering mixed tenure housing projects that on time, within budget and to our expected quality standards
  • Brief and manage project teams including consultants, architects, valuers contractors/ developers, reviewing and challenging their performance where appropriate
  • Monitor and achieve scheme completions reporting on progress throughout Inspire and motivate customers to maximise their input in the design of new homes and support them in shaping their neighbourhoods
  • Make sure new homes are built in accordance with our quality standards and contribute to the development of sustainable communities
  • Embrace the culture and resident led approach of the organisation

What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a relevant qualification ie project management, surveying, planning etc. You will have previous experience with housing development (affordable housing or private housing) and will have a strong knowledge on planning law.
