A well established company around the UK is looking for a Senior Planning Policy Officer to join their team. Your new role
As a Senior Planning Policy Officer you will be taking on responsibilities such as providing timely, comprehensive and accurate reports and recommendations on planning policy issues, leading preparation of key evidence base studies and commissions to support Local Plan or other DPDs, LDDs, monitoring and evaluating information and research data and dissemination as required, providing professional representation at Examinations in Public including, amongst other tasks.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will have to have significant experience in planning policy work in a public sector environment and be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. You should also have proven experience of delivering Local Plan and related documents and have a thorough knowledge of the current planning legislation.

The ideal candidate would also have good verbal and written communication skills in order to make concise oral presentations, be proficient in MS Office, have the ability to use personal initiative to solve challenges and to work under pressure to produce timely and high quality work.

What you'll get in return
