Support Worker required for a temporary contract in Bridgwater for a growing Housing Association
Your new company
You will be working with an excellent national housing association who provides a wide range of services to their tenants including tenancy management, tenancy sustainment and supported housing. You will be joining a forward thinking dynamic organisation who puts their customers at the forefront of the service.
Your new role
As a support worker you will be working on a full time, 2 month contract in Bridgwater providing support to service users with complex needs. As a support worker you will be carrying out one to one support plans and promoting independence helping service users with independent living. As a support worker you will be carrying out advice on housing, benefits and promoting community engagement. As a support worker you will be first point of contact for tenant queries, enabling and advocating towards independence.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful support worker you must have working knowledge in supporting vulnerable service users with complex needs. Ideally it you would have a NVQ in health and social care but this is not essential to the role. To be a successful support worker you must have excellent communication skills and be able to work flexibly within the role.
