On behalf of our client, a leading consultancy in this industry, Hays Property & Surveying are currently seeking an experienced Building Surveyor, for a fixed term contract, due to continuous growth and expansion.
Our client is a well-established firm, with an extensive and rich history.
Their areas of specialism are: Rights of Lights, Party walls and Building Surveying consultancy.
In this contract, you will be working on some really stimulating projects in London and across the UK and will be involved in all general Building surveying duties, related to both residential and commercial properties.
Your new role
In this contract, you will have the chance to work on some exciting projects, with prestigious final clients based in the Square Mile, City of London.
You will be responsible for all the general building surveying duties, including: pre-acquisition surveys, specification and schedule of works, licence to alter.
You will be involved in all stages of the projects, and will work on different ones simultaneously.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you will be chartered (MRICS or MCIOB) and have some years of post qualification experience, you will have previously worked for the private sector, within a consultancy environment.
You'll be a motivated, self-driven and experienced surveyor, able to hit the ground running and work independently.
You will be able to effectively plan and prioritise conflicting workloads, and work simultaneously on different projects.
Please note that RICS or CIOB Membership is essential.
