An assistant quantity surveyor / project manager job in Lancashire paying £25,000 for a main contractor.

Your new company
You will be join of a small - medium successful regional main contractor based in Greater Manchester. They carry out new build and refurbishment projects across various sectors including commercial, healthcare and industrial. They operate across the North West and work on projects varying in value from small developments to larger flagship schemes. They have grown from strength to strength and deliver high quality schemes. Due to continued growth and contract wins they are looking to expand their team at a junior level by appointing an assistant quantity surveyor / project manager.

Your new role
You will report to one of their directors and will work a dual role learning about the business and how they operate. You will work as an assistant quantity surveyor / project manager gaining experience within both sectors of the company. You will spend time within the commercial department gaining knowledge of how the QS / Estimators operate. You will also work alongside site engineers and site managers ensuring projects are on track and to the correct specification. You will work on a variety of schemes which will help you broaden your knowledge of the industry.

What you'll need to succeed
You will currently be studying part time OR due to complete your HNC / HND / Construction related degree. You will be keen to work within the construction sector across the North West. You will eager to learn and work closely with senior members of the business. A proactive and competitive nature would work well with this business.

What you'll get in return
