Facilities Manager (Hard Services) - Hinkley Point
Hard Services Facilities Manager required to supervise a maintenance team at one of the existing units
Your new company
As a Hard Services Facilities Manager you will be working at one of the existing Hinkley Point Nuclear Generators which is currently mid-way through a lengthy decommission phase. Your new company is a service provider who manage all hard and soft facilities management in relation to this specific site.
Your new role
As a Hard Services Facilities Manager, you will co-ordinate and supervise the hard services team which also includes a grounds team to ensure service delivery to the client is of the highest possible standard. Your team will consist of a number of hands-on trades people, including carpenters, plumbers and a multi-trade expert as well as a grounds worker. You will deploy the team accordingly, in the most effective way, to ensure that day-to-day problems as well as planned works are managed effectively.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this busy role, you will need to have existing experience at managing at team, and should be skilled within a building or maintenance profession, for example plumbing or carpentry. You'll also need an excellent understanding of planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of £30,000 per year, and will be able to work across a 36 hour week Monday through to Thursday, with Friday off each week, meaning you'll be able to take advantage of a 3 day weekend.
