Maintenance Officer required for city centre Housing Association
Your new company
A city centre based housing association requires an experienced Maintenance Officer to join their expanding team. You will be joining an organisation that manages more than 5,000 homes on more than 200 housing developments, offering rented housing and acting as factoring agents to more than 2000 homeowners.
Your new role
You will be the first point of contact for all maintenance enquiries and will be an integral part of the team. You will be responsible for planning and performing detailed annual maintenance assessments for each property and reporting upkeep requirements. You will ensure that the quality of work by contractors appointed for reactive, void and service charge maintenance and service contracts is of the highest standard and complies with the Association's requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent communication skills, with experienced gained in a similar position. You will have the ability to work on your own with the flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations. You will also need to possess good analytical skills to assess various properties and equipment and detect potential safety hazards.
