They have a number of key clients and continually invest in their staff and equipment which enables them to provide a high level of professional service throughout the business and the work they deliver.
Your new role
As Senior Estimator you will report into the Estimating Manager and your role will see you deliver tasks such as preparing and submitting competitive tenders in line with the companies guidelines. You will obtain quotations from sub-contractors, track market prices of materials, equipment and construction costs and prepare take offs from tender. You will review tender documentation in order to prepare accurate cost estimations. You will attend meetings and tender interviews as and when required. In addition to this you will be responsible for the support, mentoring and training of team members that are assigned to you.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role you will have experience as Estimator in a Main Contracting capacity. You will be able to provide quotations from multi-trades and be confident in submitting tenders up to the value of £20 million. You will be familiar with "Causeway" Estimating software and be proficient in Microsoft packages. You will have the ability to work autonomously and to a high standard.
