Planning Enforcement officer/Development Control
PLANNING ENFORCEMENT Officer ... LOCAL GOVERNMENT..
Busy Planning department of Local Authority have an immediate need for a Planning Enforcement Officer.
Working on your own caseload of Householder; minor and some major applications you will be involved in the following:
- Investigate complaints of unauthorised development
- Advise on planning enforcement
- Issue legal notices
- Conduct interviews and administer cautions where appropriate
- Prepare and give evidence in court and appeal proceedings
By joining an effective and efficient service you will be helping to meet the council's objectives.
You will have a proven track record in planning enforcement and have a broad brush experience across all areas: prosecutions/injunctions/legal notices/appeals etc
Ideally you are capable of providing a robust and effective enforcement service with little supervision and able to work own your own initiative.
This role is on a temporary/interim basis for 6 months .
Excellent hourly rate of up to £40 per hour dependent on your pay status.
