Client side Asset Manager job (2 Years FTC) Liverpool, up to £48k + final salary pension, 28 holidays + BH
Your new company
You will be working for an established client side company in the civils sector. They are looking to appoint an Asset Manager on a 2 year FTC to the team based in Liverpool. You will be responsible for directing and coordinating the performance of the Asset Management function by formulating policies, strategies and setting business targets to ensure the development and success of the function.
Your new role
You will be accountable for directing and coordinating the performance of the third party contracts that form the supply chain for the facilities function by formulating policies, strategies and setting business targets to ensure the development and success of the function. Develop and lead all asset management projects ensuring they are delivered to time, cost and quality. Provide a professional project management service to implement the asset management projects. Co-ordinate with the Legal & Compliance Manager in the production and issue of contracts for all asset management projects ensuring that the contracts comply with contract law, financial regulations, procurement regulations and minimise risk. Evaluate tenders received ensuring compliance with project specifications, relevant legislation, governance processes and optimum value for money. Prepare tender evaluation reports with recommendations for approval by the Head of Procurement and Head of Asset Management. To provide effective leadership within the Asset Management function such that all staff understand the business plan.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be from a project management and asset management background. Have the ability to build personal credibility by demonstrating the organisation's values, building trust with partners in the organisation and pro-actively contributing to organisational success. Demonstrable evidence of a Property and construction based background. End to end experience of the project lifecycle. Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
