Foreman required for bespoke residential project in the Highlands, 12 week contract
Your new company
You will be working for a residential developer in the Inverness area where you will be a Foreman leading a team of tradesmen on a bespoke build. This is a temporary contract that may lead to a permanent salaried opportunity. This role will pay a competitive hourly rate of pay, dependant on your experience.
Your new role
As a site foreman you will be responsible for the day to day productivity of the work force on site. You will have tasks such as organising materials, liaising with multiple sub-contractors, liaising with the contracts manager to ensure that productivity on site is as per the programme. You will also have responsibility to ensure that the contractors on site are working safely. Quality inspection will be key; you will be tasked with ensuring that the work completed on site is to the highest possible standard.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you must have strong organisational skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail. It would be advantageous to hold a trades qualification such as joinery, brick laying, plumbing or electrical. In addition, it would also be preferred if you held a SMSTS or SSSTS certificate.
