Support Worker needed for a wide variety of shifts in Bristol

You will be working with a local support provider who focuses on promoting tenant independence and move on services for vulnerable service users with backgrounds in homelessness, mental health and substance misuse.
Your new role
Working for Hays Social Housing as a Bank Support Worker you will be offered work in locations and settings to suit you. You will be offered a variety of shifts including waking nights, weekends, days and evenings. As we work with a range of shifts and hours, this is also an ideal way to work your job around your personal commitments.
You will need to combine your professional experience and skills to work with service users with complex needs including mental health, drugs and alcohol and mental health. You will work with service users on a day to day basis and promote their independence. You will need to be confident in working with complex needs and challenging behaviours and have a genuine desire to support the work of the permanent members of staff.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful support worker you must have working knowledge in supported housing and have working experience in complex needs. To be a successful support worker you must have strong knowledge in support plans, be able to communicate with different backgrounds and be passionate about helping people.
