Account Manager - Hampshire - £40K-£50K

Your new company

Our client provides a national and regional Specialist Integrated Facilities Service to our clients, alongside the Asset Management, Energy Management, Capital Projects, Compliance and Professional Services.
We are looking for someone who has experience in a client facing environment and can communicate effectively with stakeholders. You will be expected to Initiate and manage efficiency and improvement processes. Support the Contract Management and their development. Further develop future opportunities within the existing contract. Always ensuring repeat business is obtained where possible and that the Companies service delivery reputation is both respected and enhanced.


Your new role

As the business prepares for the next exciting stage of growth they are looking to recruit a committed, confident and resilient Client Account Manager. You must have proven knowledge and understanding of what is involved in managing a successful Facilities Services based contract, and lead the continuous development of the relationship with the client and associated contract specialists.

Key Accountabilities include (but not limited to)

Operations

  • Operational service delivery and staff management
  • Review and manage contract SLA's and KPI's
  • Subcontractor review and performance management
  • Monthly business reviews and report production to the Customers Senior Managers
  • Conduct Quarterly Strategic Meetings and Reports and deliver appropriate stakeholders
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance
  • Renewals and retention of contracts
  • Development of new business opportunities
  • Support with employee inductions to the contract


Financial / Commercial

  • Oversee contract profit forecast
  • Commercial Stewardship of specialist sub-contractors
  • Ensure a smooth process from completed works to invoice stage
  • Development, assessment and application of contract performance review procedures
  • Take an active role in the bidding process for new contracts


People

  • Provide inspirational leadership, which is both fair and firm
  • Develop team building ethos through own and line management actions
  • Establish high morale in the operational team
  • Ensure effective communications between management and the workforce


Customer Satisfaction / Business Development

  • Introduce & manage innovative, cost effective & value adding engineering solutions and deliver excellence
  • Develop business relationships through networking with existing and potential clients and suppliers
  • Support and work with the business development team when applicable


Corporate Policy & Procedures

  • Implementation of all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure equitable and ethical business practice
  • Conduct of business activities in line with company policies and values
  • Initiate and manage efficiency and improvement processes Technical skills and Knowledge


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of Facilities Management and Services delivery
  • Knowledge of quality systems, legislations and procedures
  • Demonstrable contract cost control skills
  • People management skills
  • IT skills
  • An appropriate and recognised engineering and / or a management qualification
  • The ability to seek out, develop and manage new opportunities
