A respectable and forward thinking public sector organisation is seeking a Facilities contracts manager to join them on a permanent part time basis. You will be joining a medium sized established team within the FM department. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work 3 days a week - flexible on days.
Your new role
A key role in the business, you will be responsible for a variety of service contracts, dealing with budgets, promoting the use of preferred suppliers throughout the organisation, advising on FM requirements on capital projects, ensuring that the current contractors are meeting KPI's and service delivery is high. You will also be line managing a number of staff members - consisting of both direct staff and contractors.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role is crucial. You must have a proven history of contract management (particularly on catering, cleaning and security contract - SOFT FM) and also people management. A strong knowledge of FM, COSHH standards and H&S in the workplace is required.
