Factoring Officer - Initial temp contract. Potential permanent placement after 12-16 weeks.

A Housing Association in the Glasgow area are looking for an experienced Factoring Officer to deliver an efficient and cost effective factoring service to its customers.
Your new role
Ensure legal compliance with all factoring activities undertaken and ensure factoring obligations are achieved.
Be responsible for the successful delivery and achievement of operational and performance standards.
Manage common repairs in accordance with authorised procedures.
Carry out common area inspections as and when required.
Correspondence with owners following receipt of quotes and tenders; arranging and attending meetings where required.
Ensure contractor's invoices are submitted within required timescales.
Communicating with solicitors in relation to incoming/outgoing ownership changes. Preparation and sign up of new owners' agreements, review and collection of initial set up costs.
Ensure legal compliance with all operational matters within the Factoring Section.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude and pride in delivering an effective service.
