Planner (Assistant Design and Planning Project Manager)

The organisation is keen to grow its land and planning team in line with their vision to provide everyone with a quality, affordable home through its nearly £3 billion injection, refinancing their objective to build 100,000 new homes in the UK.
Your new role
Your new role, based in a London office, includes working with the head of design and planning and the design and planning manager on schemes in the home counties surrounding London. You will be providing internal planning advice to members of your team and running planning applications. You will be performing planning appraisals and conducting site visits as well as working with the design team on schemes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a degree qualified town planner or RICS equivalent with future eligibility for RTPI or other related professional qualification. You will possess knowledge and understanding of the statutory processes involved in town planning plus possess excellent verbal and written communication as needed to develop good relationships with colleagues, consultancies and local authorities that you will be liaising with.
