You will be working for an established family run civils and groundworks contractor based in Derbyshire who carry out a range of projects. The organisation have an extremely small staff turnover and are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team due continued increase of workload and the current incumbent retiring
Your new role
You will be working as a Contracts Manager reporting to the company director. The role will involve overseeing 2/3 projects at any one time ranging in value from £250k - £2M. Clients include Public Sector organisations and large blue chip private sector companies. You will have line management responsibilities for site staff who are completing civils work packages such as; Groundworks, Demolition, Pumping Stations, Roads, Sewers, Bridges, Residential works.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Contracts Manager with a Civils background, have a strong work ethic and be able manage multiple sites simultaneously. The role is with an family run organisation so you will be part of a close knit group who are flexible in their approach to helping with others workloads.
