You will be working for a public sector organisation within the property team. They currently have a temporary Maintenance Surveyor job for a minimum 6 month period.
Your new role
You will be working as a Maintenance Surveyor for a public sector organisation. You will be responsible for managing the maintenance of commercial and public buildings. You will visit sites, carrying out surveys and scheduling work to be carried out by both internal teams and contractors, working with them on a daily basis to ensure work is carried out to budget and deadline in line with company policy and procedure. You will manage the work throughout, reporting back on progress.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Surveyor who has worked on commercial buildings. You will be confident liaising with contractors and challenging where necessary to ensure work is completed to standards and best value for money is achieved. Driving licence and vehicle access essential.
What you'll get in return
You will have ongoing work for a minimum of 6 months. You will be paid an hourly rate and paid on a weekly basis, with the ability to claim mileage for site visits. You will have access to an online portal to submit and manage timesheets.
