Regional Contractor - Contracts Manager (Building / Construction) - Hampshire
Regional Contractor based in Hampshire seeking a Contracts Manager to join the business on a permanent basis they are looking to pay a competitive salary between £60,000 - £70,000 + package.
Your new company
The business operate across Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex and Surrey provided construction services for public sector clients. The business complete a number of Education & Defence projects from £1m to £10m and our looking to grow the business by taking on work within the social housing sector. The business manage around 8 projects at any one time.
Your new role
As contracts manager you will report to the operations manager and divisional director overseeing a number of projects across the businesses geographical patch. You will have responsibilities of site based teams, implementing and overseeing programmes, RAMS etc. You will also have responsibility of managing and dealing with key clients.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in the role you will need to be a contracts manager with previous contracting experience running JCT and NEC contract types up to value of £5 to £10 million. Ideally you will have a successful track record managing education projects (school's etc.) or defence projects and have experience managing clients within public sector organisations. Ability to take on responsibilities of the role with management certificates SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid. You must also be able to attain SC clearance.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of £60,000 - £70,000 with 10% Car allowance of you annual salary, 24 days holiday, pension, dictionary bonus, health care.
