Your new role
As part of our ambitious transformation programme, Eastleigh Borough Council are now seeking an experienced Regeneration Project Manager to support in the delivery of multiple construction related projects.
As the Regeneration Project Manager, you will work alongside the Programme Manager, directly delivering all aspects of project management on key regeneration projects and council initiatives, using a structured project management methodology. Projects will encompass both new build and refurbishment schemes, within a commercial and mixed use capacity, up to £15M+ in value.
Within your day to day responsibilities you will undertake a number of regeneration project management related tasks. Typically, some of these will include; compiling and presenting business cases, creating and coordinating project plans and project teams, negotiating with contractors and suppliers, budget management, contract procurement, undertaking progress meetings, liaising with key stakeholders and maintaining up-to-date project documentation such invoicing and progress reports.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to perform successfully, you will be an experienced Project Manager with particular knowledge in the delivery of construction and built environment related project programmes from within large/complex organisations. Desirably, you will have worked within a similar role involving area regeneration or community asset programmes.
It is expected that you will hold relevant degree in a project management or a construction related subject and, desirably, hold a professional accreditation such as APM, RICS or Prince2.
