Contracts Manager role for permanent appointment in Sussex
Your new company
Working for a local main contracting company who work predominately in Sussex on a variety of contracts up to the £3m mark. The company are a tight team who are looking for a professional Contracts Manager to oversee their projects and add value to their team.
The role will include overseeing approx. 3 or 4 projects at any one time, an interesting mix of education extension projects; new build healthcare centres; bespoke housing, large domestic extension etc. The duties of the position will include working with clients and sub-contractors; overseeing the programmes and costing of the sites and solving problems to ensure smooth handovers to the client.
You will have a full working knowledge of construction and the way in which buildings are put together, along with previous recent Contracts Management or Projects management experience. You will be technically minded and be able to work with the team to solve problems. Experience of buying/purchasing would be an advantage but is not essential.
