Associate Director level Building Surveyor to join Management team at Surrey based Practice - £55-60K + Bonus

Your new company is a well established and respected firm of Chartered Surveyors who have developed an innovative modern method to their profession which has driven constant success and an impressive reputation.
They are looking to expand their team by acquiring an Associate / Management level Chartered Building Surveyor to work alongside the Managing Partners of the practice.
Your new job role
The job role will be based in the Guildford head office and will involve travel into and around London, with primary responsibilities including (but not limited to) Building Surveys, Party Wall Awards & Project Management.
Your day to day tasks will involve carrying out pre-acquisition surveys and providing valuable and impartial advice to clients surrounding maintenance and repair costs.
Other responsibilities will include analysing specific defects & compiling schedules of conditions in relation to private residential properties
Duties will also include monitoring the standard and quality of repairs, ensuring rectification is completed if necessary and will be responsible for Quality Control throughout any building projects.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need to hold an MRICS or FRICS qualification as you will be working independently, representing the company and their commitment to providing the highest standard of quality and professionalism.
You will need to be a pro-active, motivated and organised individual with great time management skills and a keen attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively and professionally with both clients and colleagues alike, with the desire to develop strong relationships with both parties.
Business development will play a large part in the role and therefore you will need to be confident in your communication and negotiation.
You will need to take pride in your work and of your role, as you will be representing the company and upholding the brand values and core principles through your work.
