The firm took the number one spot in the mid-sized category in the list of ‘Britain’s Top Employers’ which is awarded by the Corporate Research Foundation in conjunction with The Daily Telegraph.

The award is presented to companies demonstrating best practice in HR and scores are based on pay and benefits, training and development, career development, working conditions and company culture.

RLB, which employs 340 staff at its seven UK offices, was awarded the maximum five stars in all five of the categories.

This latest accolade follows a number of prestigious awards for the practice which is regularly honoured as one of the UK’s top employers.

Earlier this month Rider Levett Bucknall was ranked in The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For survey for the third consecutive year.

The practice climbed nine places up the ranking to take the 68th spot in the top 100 UK companies.

Rider Levett Bucknall also further cemented its association with Investors in People (IIP) when it became one of only a handful of UK employers to achieve Silver accreditation.

Hilary Richardson, HR Manager, at Rider Levett Bucknall, said: “This is an excellent achievement and we are immensely proud to be recognised as Britain’s Top Employer for the second consecutive year.

“The construction industry has experienced challenging times so to be ranked as the best employer in the UK is testament to the dedication of our highly-skilled, talented and motivated workforce.”
