Phase One: Bristol

About 70 of Bristol’s new professionals joined Building for the latest networking event.

There was something of an art theme to the evening – the venue was The Pavilion on Harbourside, a collaboration between architect Nick Childs and artist Dail Behennah. Childs explained how the project came about – and what it was like working with another creative ego – before joining Aldo Rinaldi, senior public art officer for Bristol City council to lead a very enlightening tour of the works alongside the harbourside.

Back at the Pavilion the final speakers were from local architectural practice White Design, a pioneer in low-carbon design. Craig White and Till Scherer made a powerful case for working with local communities on sustainability and answered a volley of questions from the audience.
