Architect

6 Month Contract Opportunity for talented, ARB registered Architect or equivalent.

Your new company
Hays are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated ARB registered Architect, or equivalent, for an initial 6 month contract position in Glasgow.

Your new role
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will support the Team Leader in providing a broad range of architectural and design services for a number of ongoing projects, and will be taking these from RIBA stage 3-4, so sound technical knowledge and AutoCAD proficiency are essential to this role.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this contract, you'll ideally be a qualified Architect with at least 5 years post qualification experience. It is important that you are proficient in AutoCAD, with a knowledge of Revit and BIM processes an added bonus but by no means essential. You'll have experience of running projects from concept design stage through to completion and will have strong detailing ability and a solid understanding of current UK building and planning regulations.

What you'll get in return
This contract offers the opportunity to work on some fantastic local projects, including refurbishments, extensions, and new builds. You will be offered a competitive hourly rate in the region of £18 - £22ph, dependent on experience and preferred pay type, and at least 6 months' work, with the possibility of extension beyond this.
