About Hastoe
Hastoe - the leading provider of rural affordable housing in the country - has a clear sense of purpose: to build sustainable energy-efficient homes in rural communities and to deliver a high-quality service to our customers.
We own and manage over 7,500 homes in over 70 local authority areas and nearly 300 villages across the south of England, from Norfolk to Cornwall.
About the role
We are looking for two non-executive board members to join our Board to help to shape the future of Hastoe and oversee the continuous improvement of its services to residents and local communities.
About you
You will have general business strategy and management skills. We are particularly keen to receive applications from individuals with skills and expertise in either:
- Residential property development / construction / design; or
- Influencing and communications, preferably with strong links to national and/or local decision-makers.
Financial acumen and a knowledge of good governance will be distinct advantages, though are not essential.
Finally, you will be enthusiastic about Hastoe’s purpose and able to meet a time commitment of around 10-15 days per year.
Benefits
You will receive a basic fee of £4,750, plus reasonable expenses. You will also be provided with relevant training and development opportunities.
Application
The full job pack can be found by clicking 'Apply' below. Please send your CV, Supporting Statement and completed forms to our HR team by Monday 29 April 2019 at midday. Full details are provided in the job pack on our website - please read this carefully before applying.
Interviews will take place late May 2019 and early June 2019.
