Quantity Surveyor

A quantity surveyor job in Lancashire paying £45k + package for a bespoke luxury housing developer.

Your new company
You will join a bespoke housing developer who specialise in quality new build housing in sought after locations. They produce a fantastic product and have gained huge interest in their developments. Their MD is expanding the team and has approached me to appointment a quantity surveyor to join their small commercial team. The company has a view to develop and is in the process of acquiring further land for upcoming projects.

Your new role
You will report to the MD and will join a small commercial team. You will be based from their head office North of Preston and will attend weekly site visits across North Lancashire / Cumbria. You will take charge of c ost control, planning and forecasting . You will procure packages, measure on site and challenge site teams. Your sites will be small high spec developments therefore quality is at the forefront of everything they do.

What you'll need to succeed
You will currently be working as a QS preferably for as developer / house builder however they are open to surveyors from other backgrounds if you are keen to learn and develop within the housing sector. You will be looking for a new challenge within the industry and will be keen to work on high end developments. You will be able to work alongside the site teams well and build strong relationships.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 plus package dependant on experience. You will join a bespoke house builder who take pride in their developments. You are guaranteed a strong pipeline of work due to their upcoming sites and will be offered future career opportunities and progression within the local area.
