London-based interior architectural practice looking to expand their Strategic Consulting Team
Your new company
My client is a London-based interior architectural practice with a global reach. They are recognised as leaders in the field of workplace strategy and design. The firm's strategy has been to remain specialised on the market sectors of finance, insurance, corporate, legal, technology, media & commercial development. Their projects are award winning and their clients are leaders in their own fields. The practice is 25 in number. Has wide range of ages, nationalities, personalities and is a mixture of workplace consultants, interior designers, architects and technical designers.
Your new role
They are looking for a candidate who has some experience in workplace design and who either already is or is interested in, focusing on workplace strategy as a career. They have a unique approach to space planning and workplace strategy which we would expect to train the suitable candidate in.
Typical weekly deliverables will be the production of building marketing plans representing various industry sectors (legal, financial, corporate, media etc) along with test fits for occupiers carrying out due diligence as part of a building search exercise.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 2-5 years' experience.
What you'll need to succeed
The following skill sets and attributes are what they are looking for in a candidate:
- Analytical approach to design
- Looking for an opportunity to progress further in the field of workplace strategy creating occupier briefs, undertaking building analysis and change management consultancy services.
- Ready to assist in data analysis
- Articulate
- Able to create graphic collateral for workshops
- Assist in undertake building efficiency & feasibility studies
- The candidate should be able to use AutoCAD, Indesign, Adobe Suite as a minimum. Knowledge of Revit and Excel as a bonus.
- Be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and be a self-starter
