Landed Estate Building Surveyor
£55,000 + bonus + package
London
The Building Surveying team at Capstone are pleased to be working on another exciting opportunity for an incredible and unique landowner based in the heart of Central London. This phenomenal estate consists of 300 properties within prime London postcodes, and ranges from Grade 1 listed terrace houses to large commercial office space.
My client prides themselves on their longevity and working to provide long-term value to the area. Deeply committed to the portfolio and its heritage, they work to continually refurbish and upgrade their properties to maintain and enhance the traditional context while ensuring that they are finished to the highest standards.
About the role:
Working within the projects division, the successful candidate will be expected to work on residential and commercial schemes, specifically focusing of the delivery of:
- Refurbishment projects
- Dilapidation process
- License for alteration process
- Contractor management
In addition, this Building Surveyor will manage & assist internal colleagues with the following services;
- Agreement for lease works
- Feasibility studies
- Utility upgrades
- Remediation works
- Party wall awards
- Measured surveys
- Maintenance programmes
About you:
The successful candidate should be MRICS qualified and have a heritage leaning; you will be dealing with an impressive mixed portfolio comprising of listed buildings, thus a good eye for detail is of paramount importance.
The Package:
My client is willing to pay up to £55,000 for the successful candidate. The package alongside this is market-leading; and comprises of a pension (up to 15%), health insurance, life insurance, a season ticket loan and flexible working is welcomed.
